Well it's been a while since I've written in here but I've been really bussy. Well today I got back from my mission trip in Mexico which was AWESOME! 8 days of FREEDOM! Well it was a 10 hour drive to Juarez Mexico and when we got there we set up camp LoL I got to make the fire.......(self explainetory) IT WAS HUGE! Then the next three days we spent building a house for this family who was living in a house with cardboard walls and a dirt floor. It was fun because I was on the walls and roof team which was cool cuz while everybody else had to do gay cement work I was having fun on the roof! It was so cool to see the family faces when we gave them the key to their house. They were very thankful and it was really cool. REAL Mexican food is yummy yummy in my tummy! The next day we left for El Paso where we climbed a mountain called Mout Cristo Ray which was cool cuz we went off trail to the REAL rock climbing and I was the third one to the top and then me and Randy ran down the 2 and a half mile trail to the bottom which was awesome besides the extream pain I felt afterwards. Later that night we went to the movies and I saw Lords Of Dogtown which is my new favorite movie. Oh yeah we also went to Juarez market that day. It's sooo cool cuz u can get alot of bootleg fake stuff super cheap. I got some cool fake Ray Ban Aviator Sunglasses which the real ones are like 100 bux but I got mine for 10. I almost baught a swithblade and some brass knuckles but because their illegal in America they would have taken them up at customs. Plus what the hell am I gonna do with a swithblade and brass knuckles? Later that night we left for Santa Fe New Mexico (which is nothing like the real Mexico) LoL On the way there we stopped at this place called Elephant Butte which we all called Elephant Butt to go cliff diving. The water was too shallow to do the big 50 foot cliffs which sucked but we were still able to dive off the 25 foot cliffs. Inorder to get to the cliffs you have to swim across this cove thingy which was about 200 yards which doesnt sound far but when the water is too deep to stand in to take a break and u have to swim across the whole thing without stopping it gets really tiring! Well the first time Tommy (my youth paster) told Joe not to swim it but to walk around so we all swam across and then Joe walked around the cove over to the cliffs. We spant about an hour diving which was cool because after your dove u had to climb up the cliff which was really steep! It was cool. After about an hour at the cliffs we decided we had to get back on the road to Santa Fe. I started to swim back and then when I got back across I looked back and everybody was about half way and Joe was really far behind and then a second later he stoped swiming and started yelling for help. We where all super tired from swimming but we all started swimming really fast towards him but Tommy, Aron, and Lee got to him first which was good because he kept trying to push them down to stay up so if he did that to me that would have sucked! Well then I was really tired because I had just swam all the way back and then swam out really fast half way so I was supper tired but I just swam on my back the whole way back and then we all had to back away from Joe cuz him and Tommy were talkin but he turned out to be just fine. As wrong as it is I have to say this. Elephant Butte is part of the Rio Grande that is damned off into a lake. Well Joe is Mexican. Lets put one and one together. Joe almost drowned trying to swim across the Rio Grande! .............sorry I swear I'm not racist! Anyways.......5 hours later we arived in Santa Fe. The next day we all went white watre rafting! OMG! AWESOME! We rode class 3 and one class 4 rapids which are big! It was cool cuz I almost fell out a few times. We got to do it twice. Everybody did it the first time but then it started to hail and the water was like 40 degrees so it sucked. The second time almost everybody bailed out so there was only like 20 of us who did it the second time but it was SOOOO much better because it stopped hailing and it warmed up and we did some diferent thing on the rapids like go down one backwards it was cool. We also had raft wars where we slamed in to eachother and splashed everyone. The next day we went to the movies again and I saw Mr.and Mrs. Smith PEOPLE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY IT SUCKED! Then Saturday we went to Santa Fe Square which was all these expensive stores that none of us will ever in our wildest dreams be able to shop at but it was cool because the area was really beautiful and it had a kick ass guitar store. I was playing all these like $10,000.00 guitars. It was cool. (Wow how may times have I said it was cool now?) Oh well its cool. In the middle of the square there were these three guys who were playing guitars and takin requests for songs it was funny because they played staceys mom on acoustic guitars. It turned out that they were from Baltimore and had just graduated college and wanted to take a 2 moth road trip across America and they knew they didn't have enough money so they where gonna take odd jobs and play guitar for tips along the way. How cool is that? Well at about 3 that afternoon we left for home. It was a 15 hour drive home and we arived in Grand Prairie at 6 in the morning. I was awake for every second of it. I had woen up at six saturday morning and didnt go to bed untill 10 this morning so I had been up for 28 hours so I was really tired. Then I woke up at about 2 and played guitar all afternoon. Then at 6 I went to six flags where I saw Kelcy and Spencer (they are awesome) then I came home and now I'm writing this which is the longest Xanga entry I've EVER written and I doubt anyone is going to read all of this so TTYL Comments Plz!
